Some of the facilities Sierra Lobo supports include wind
tunnels, engine altitude chambers, engine component facilities, space
simulation chambers, zero gravity facilities, instrumentation R&D
laboratories, materials and structures R&D laboratories, clean rooms, and
rocket test facilities.
Sierra Lobo provides all personnel, equipment, tools,
materials, vehicles, supervision and other items necessary to plan, prepare,
and conduct tests; to plan and support facility and hardware development; to
operate, maintain, and repair the facilities; and to provide required
administrative support. Sierra Lobo’s
tasks on this contract are organized into three areas:

Development – focused on improving or modifying the capabilities of a

constructing major International Space Station research facilities to small
hardware for research aircraft. This
